The annual one. Three filters, fresh oil, brake fluid tested, and sixty points gone through on the ramp — with the numbers written down so next year you can see what actually moved.
Everything in the interim, plus five things that only get done yearly
The annual extras
- Engine air filter replaced — a clogged one costs you fuel every mile
- Pollen / cabin filter replaced — the reason the car smells musty in spring
- Fuel filter replaced where the manufacturer fits a serviceable one
- Brake fluid moisture tested and the percentage recorded
- Full ramp inspection — suspension, steering, driveshafts, exhaust, underbody corrosion
Plus everything from the interim
- Oil and oil filter to manufacturer specification
- All fluid levels checked and topped
- Tyre tread measured, pressures set
- Brake pads and discs measured front and rear
- Battery load tested
- Lights, wipers, horn, washers
- Wheel nuts torqued, service light reset, book stamped
What a full service is not. It isn’t a cambelt, it isn’t a gearbox oil change, and it isn’t an MOT. Those are separate jobs at separate intervals. We’ll tell you when each one is due for your car — but we won’t quietly fold them into a “major service” and hope you don’t look.

Two to three hours. Most people drop the car in the morning and pick it up at lunch.
Full service
Interim or full — which do I need?
Full once a year. Interim halfway through if you cover decent mileage or do mostly short city journeys, which is harder on oil than motorway miles.
Does it include the cambelt?
No. That’s a separate job on its own interval — see cambelts. We’ll check yours against the schedule and tell you where you stand.
Will you stamp my service book?
Yes, with part numbers and oil specification on the invoice to back it up. If you want the manufacturer’s exact schedule followed, book the manufacturer service instead.
What if you find something?
You get a photo and a price, and you decide. Nothing outside the service gets done without you saying yes.
